This past weekend I was referred to the Baltimore Beauty, Fashion and Boudoir photography club. Each month the members of this organization meet up to practice their photography skills and share different shooting ideas. July's meeting place took place at Mike P's studio in Baltimore, MD. 5 models were present and we took turns shooting in the studio and around the old rustic warehouse that the studio was in. It was a fun experience and gave me more practice using professional studio lights. Here are a couple of the pictures I came up with. I hope you enjoy.

Jonathan + Wendi
It is not often that you witness true acts of heroism. However fireman are one of the few figures in society that commit acts of heroism on a daily basis. Chief Jonathan Howard is one of these brave men and is also my brother-in-law. He leads men and women on a daily basis to make sure the rest of us remain safe. Last Sunday I had to chance to get a tour and take a few photos of him and his wife Joy at Engine 43 Company in Bowie, MD. It was great to see all of the different types of equipment they use to do their job which also made great subjects for pictures. Overall the experience was great. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Malcom + Ray: Engagement Party
This past Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting the engagement party of Malcom Hollins and Ray Williams. While outside temperatures reached close to 105 degrees in one of the hottest days in MD history, inside was filled with plenty of food, laughter and fun. Their wedding is scheduled for April of next year in Houston, TX and is sure to be another fun occasion based on how warm and charismatic their family and friends were. Overall the party turned out beautifully and was fun to photograph. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Raji + Joy: Married
Saturday July 10 was a beautiful day for a wedding in Cleveland, OH. The weather was perfect for the roof top wedding of Raji and Joy Welch-Bay. This wedding was especially joyous since my wife and I have known Raji and Joy for years and have been fortunate enough to witness many special days in their lives. The wedding took place at the Embassy Suites Hotel Downtown and was followed by a beautiful reception at the Mercury lounge in the Warehouse District. The whole event was filled with joy and laughter and was a beautiful backdrop for my camera. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
